Richard Burt

Ski Tech & Driver

After leaving school, I spent 11 years at a precision engineering company. In 2015 I spent two weeks in China, training the local workforce, which ultimately replaced our UK workforce, rendering me redundant. However, this has allowed me to follow my passion and start a new career in the ski/snowboarding industry. I have been snowboarding in various resorts in France and Canada and I’m looking forward to the upcoming season with Morealps in La Rosiere.

Tom Keough

Ski Tech & Driver

Hi my name is Tom, 25 from The Wirral in the UK. This winter will be my second winter season. I am looking forward to ‎returning to the Alps and the season ahead. I love being in the outdoors from snowboarding to hiking and mountain biking, it is amazing to be enjoying nature. This is also reflected in my summer season as I guide Wilderness Trips in America.

Jessica Daniëls

Chef & Host, Chalet Chocard

Jessica has spent many years abroad, working in restaurants or as a tourist guide. The drive to create something of her own brought her back to Belgium, where she ran a successful business for almost a decade. Meeting her partner Rory reactivated the old travel bug and together they hit the road again. In this new life, she tries to find a balance between her three passions: cooking, writing and cycle touring. The inspiration that she gathers from all over the world, coupled with a genuine love for cooking allows her to create the kind of meal that just hits the spot after an exciting day in the mountains.

Rory O Callaghan

Chef & Host, Chalet Chocard

Rory is best described as: not run of the mill, a bit of an adventurer, an outdoor life lover with many interests and skills. As a host he will strive to get everything sorted out and done properly so that guests can just focus on enjoying their stay with us. Easy to talk with, whether its for information or just a casual chat you’ll find him willing to take his time for you. Rory, along with his partner Jessica, is looking forward to give you a hearty welcome to our chalet.

Tom Perry

Ski Tech & Driver

Hi, I’m Tom. I recently gave up the desk job as a geologist in Scotland to return to pursuing working and living in the mountains. I love all things outdoors from skiing to cycling to climbing and can’t wait to work and live in La Rosiere with MoreAlps for my second winter season. As a driver and ski tech I’ll be getting you safely to resort and making sure all the skis/snowboards are in top shape for your time on the mountain! See you out there!

Louisa Windus

Chef & Host, Perle Des Neiges

Louisa has been a midwife in a busy London hospital for 10 years and whilst she loves this role, cannot wait to host a ski chalet and embrace the different lifestyle this provides. She has been a chef for a local home-based takeaway service and enjoys creating innovative celebration cakes. Louisa & Ben want to ensure guests feel pampered in Chalet Perle Des Neiges – making it a welcoming place to return to after a rewarding day’s skiing, with the promise of a tasty and exciting meal.

Ben Upton

Chef & Host, Perle Des Neiges

Ben has always has a strong draw to the outdoor lifestyle – his last French adventure involved cycling the circumference of France, with only a tent and basic supplies for company. After 10 years in a London office, he is keen to swap the four walls and commute for the fresh air and excitement of a ski season. Both Ben and Louisa have a love of all things food-related, as well as skiing – so they will be in their element as Perle Des Neiges chalet hosts for the season.

Ed Baker

During your visits I hope I can provide you with entertainment, stories and delicious food and I am looking forward to meeting you all.
