We believe in incredible service and attention to detail, so your holiday starts perfectly, (in a brand new minibus at the airport or train station) and finishes with you saying something like, “The skiing, boarding, food and company has all been amazing – we don’t want to leave”…You might not say that, but you get the idea!
Morealps was created by Sarah and Dan in 2004. Dan had been working as a Ski and Snowboard instructor in 1998 – 2000 in America while Sarah had been chefing in golf courses on the beautiful west coast of Ireland. After meeting while on a working holiday in the Greek islands in 2000, Dan and Sarah worked for a large UK ski company, and realised how small, but important details were being left out of many holidays. Their experience and extensive knowledge of the holiday and catering sectors lead towards a concept of stress free holidays, fantastic cuisine, attentive service and unforgettable days on the mountain. These early days and 90 hour weeks created a Winter holiday their first guests loved – so much they still continue to come back, and keep bringing new recruits every year!
Morealps has grown steadily because we have enjoyed the journey and not got over excited about growing too quickly.
We still maintain the core ingredients that made our first guests want to keep on returning to us. We only employ experienced managers who are always contactable and ensure that our high standards are maintained week after week. Our experience is passed on through some of the most thorough training in the Alps, ensuring that when the first week of the season arrives, we are 100% ready and not using the first guests as training guinea pigs! We also have an enviable number of staff returning to us, which makes for an even better experience year on year.
We offer a 24 hour emergency line – we are never more than 4 minutes away from any of the chalets in La Rosiere and can react to any situation with professionalism and experience. Our experienced hosts, drivers and professionally trained chefs are usually 25 years and over and with bags of common sense. The enjoyment of a Morealps holiday begins before your departure date. We are always contactable and let all of our guests know that there are no silly questions. If you want to talk to us and ask about how many layers of clothing a 6 year old might need in March, or how much is a venison steak and a glass of red in Italy, then be our guest!
